HI, I’M CLAIRE FRANCES – YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER & STORYTELLER

I’m Claire Frances, a passionate Shoalhaven photographer and storyteller based on the breath-taking South Coast of, Vincentia, and Jervis Bay, NSW. My work is dedicated to capturing love, connection, and the raw, beautiful moments that make up the fabric of our lives. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me chasing sunrises with my husband and our two children, adventuring out on the bay in our boat, swimming in the crystal-clear waters of Jervis Bay, or simply unwinding with a good Netflix session.

My love for the arts has been a lifelong journey, one that has shaped my perspective and deepened my appreciation for storytelling through imagery. After spending time away from the region to pursue my undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Arts and Cultural Management at the University of Melbourne, I felt a strong pull back to the place that truly feels like home. The coastline, the golden light, the endless beauty of the Shoalhaven and Jervis Bay—this is where my heart belongs, and it’s where I find my greatest inspiration. It was here that I fully embraced photography not just as a passion, but as my way of preserving life’s most meaningful connections.

As a multi-award-winning and internationally published photographer, I have spent nearly two decades honing my craft. My goal has always been to go beyond just taking pictures—I want every image I capture to tell a story. Your story. The anticipation of new life, the quiet strength of motherhood, the tender moments of a growing family—these are the memories that deserve to be held onto, valued, and passed down through generations.
